Jessica is an Associate with Ramsell & Associates, LLC, located in Wheaton, Illinois, and she practices criminal defense. Since joining Ramsell & Associates Jessica has helped dozens of clients successfully navigate their way through the criminal justice system. She has also assisted the Managing Partner in preparing several Illinois Appellate Court briefs for clients as well as briefs amicus curae.
During law school she interned for several judges at the state and federal level. She co-authored articles with an Illinois Cirucit Court judge and published writings of her own. Jessica also interned for the DuPage Public Defender and the Office of the State Appellate Defender. She was selected to participate in Loyola's Honors Advocacy Program, she completed Loyola's Mock Trial curriculum, and she earned a Certificate in Advocacy. She received distinction for earning the highest grade in her Appellate Advocacy and Jury Selection courses.
She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago and her B.A. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She is admitted to practice in Illinois.
