

James B. Peterson
Associate Attorney
James Peterson grew up in DuPage, and now resides in Kane County. James received his undergraduate education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and went to law school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Law. While in law school, James was a 711 Intern with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office. Also while in law school, James excelled in Mock Trial and Moot Court competitions.
James has been practicing law since 2021 and has handled numerous DUI offenses as well as other criminal misdemeanors, and felony cases from beginning to end. After exploring other practice areas, James returned to his passion of Criminal Defense with Ramsell & Kunowski, L.L.C..
James enjoys rigorous exercise, quality time with his family, board games, and golf.
